Wayne Frost

Operations
Wayne has built and led development teams in the US, Europe & Asia, including a 12-year-4-studio marathon at Electronic Arts. With a background in management, QA and finance Wayne has built teams and games for franchises such as Harry Potter, Star Wars, Madden NFL and Command & Conquer, and partnered with Warner Bros, Lucasfilm & DC Comics, amongst others. When not in the office Wayne is most happy with a kettlebell in each hand.

Jason RM Smith

Creative
With over two decades of AAA & f2p leadership Jason has won pitches and led products with Warner Bros (Harry Potter), Blue Planet (Tetris), Lucasfilm (Star Wars) and Lightstorm (Avatar), to name a few. In addition to working at a number of iconic game companies such as Argonaut, Bullfrog, Criterion & LucasArts, Jason has served as a Director and Chair at SIGGRAPH, is a Juror for BAFTA and advises for the UK Board of Trade & Industry.

Having served many millions of players around the world with Puzzle, Character & Real-Time Strategy games there are few individuals with such a perfect blend of passion for technology, commitment to quality and understanding of the mobile f2p model. We’re very excited about announcing our new CTO!

Hamza Hutchinson

Engineering Lead
Hamza tuned his engineering and leadership skills developing Character games at LucasArts directly before moving to SoMa Play to drive the engineering team. His ability to apply structure and clear goals ensures the engineers are fully optimised and the entire team are happy. When Hamza isn’t exercising his fingertips on a keyboard he’s using them to hang from mountains.
